Membership in The Forum of Executive Women provides a host of professional and personal benefits for the members of the region's premier women's organization.
Benefits Include:
Joining a powerful network of women leaders
Members have the opportunity to meet and interact with senior women leaders representing the full spectrum of industries, businesses and organizations found in the Philadelphia region. Orientation for new members includes a new member breakfast and outreach from current members to help inform new members about the variety of programs and committee opportunities awaiting them.
Invitations to cutting-edge programs by top speakers and to Forum special events
Members are invited to attend monthly programs on a wide range of topics designed to provide the most current information, provoke thought and promote an exchange of views and opinions. These are unique programs that are not presented elsewhere. Forum members also have the opportunity to get to know one another more informally at our "Meet The Forum" breakfasts, which are held on a monthly basis at various locations across the region.
Advocating and facilitating the increased representation of women on boards and in top management positions in public companies in the Greater Philadelphia region
The Forum has distinguished itself as the organization that is helping to diversify the makeup of boards and executive offices in this region. Through its Executive Suites Initiative, The Forum annually produces its Women on Boards research report, which is becoming a must-read in corporate, public and not-for-profit offices across the region.
Participating on Forum Committees
This is where much of The Forum's important work gets done. Members are encouraged to participate on Forum committees, which include Engagement; Executive Suites; Mentoring; Program; Public Sector Leadership; Sponsorship; and Strategic Marketing and Communications. Members also have the opportunity to participate in Affinity Groups, which are formed for the purpose of small group interaction and information exchange among Forum members with similar interests.
Access to Online Member Directory and Forum Publications
Available to members only is The Forum's online membership directory, where they can search members' information by name and business category. Members also receive The Forum's newsletter, The Forum News, a copy of its annual Women on Boards research report, and they can access online transcripts of major presentations by leading speakers who have presented at Forum programs.
