Periodically, The Forum presents a member with The Star Award, which recognizes individuals for their special actions and achievements. Members may self nominate or nominate another member. Click here for more complete information on The Star Award and a nomination form.
The Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders is presented annually to a woman who is representative of the kind of leadership talent that The Forum seeks to retain in this region and encourage to participate in a broader role as a leader and mentor in the community. The award is presented at The Forum's Annual Meeting. The winner receives a scholarship to a leadership development program and is invited as The Forum's guest to attend its monthly programs. The Forum also receives occasional requests from other organizations for nominations for their national and local awards. Examples are the Avon Women of Enterprise Awards, the Girl Scouts Take the Lead Award, the Paradigm Award and the Women of Distinction Award. As these requests for nominations are received, they will be posted in this section.
