The Forum of Executive Women is pleased to accept nominations for its 2012 Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders. For twelve years, The Forum has presented this award to inspiring women in the Philadelphia region, from a range of professional backgrounds, who have demonstrated exceptional accomplishment and potential. The Forum Award is a unique, esteemed acknowledgement of these rising leaders’ talents, and the public recognition encourages them to serve in even broader roles as leaders and as mentors in their communities.
Award Nomination Criteria
The 2012 Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders will recognize two (2) women from the Philadelphia region (unaffiliated with each other) who have demonstrated significant leadership and accomplishment in their careers thus far, as well as high potential for future growth.
A nominee must meet the following criteria:

Have been in her current career for 7-12 years (please note: nominees outside this range will not be considered);

Have demonstrated leadership within her profession/field;

Be in line for a position of significant leadership within her profession/place of work;

Have shown a commitment to other women in her profession and in her community as a whole;
-
Have demonstrated a commitment to leaving a legacy in the region; and
-
Live or work in the Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey or Delaware region.
A Unique Professional Development Experience for the Recipients
Each recipient will receive a customized professional development experience facilitated under the leadership and guidance of Forum members. The recipients also will be given the opportunity to attend certain Forum programs/events as guests.
The Forum of Executive Women acknowledges the importance of diversity – ethnic, racial, religious, age, disability and sexual orientation – to Forum members and to the greater community in which we live and work. Therefore, The Forum encourages a diversity of nominees for The Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders.
To All Nominators
The Forum asks that nominators inform nominees of their intentions prior to nominating. Please note that a company or organization should submit no more than three nominations for individuals within the organization.
Award Presentation
The Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders will be presented at the Annual Meeting of The Forum of Executive Women on June 19, 2012.
Submission Deadline and Instructions
