Over the years, The Forum has recognized and honored individual members who, by their examples and ongoing actions, are representative of values and initiatives that The Forum works hard to advance as a group. This is known as the STAR Award.
To evaluate an individual’s qualifications to receive The Star Award, review the goals of The Forum of Executive Women for 2006-2009 listed below.
- Establish The Forum as the premier membership organization for women in top leadership positions in the region.
- Ensure that The Forum’s membership and its leadership reflect the broad spectrum of executive women in the region.
- Expand the number of women in leadership positions in business, political and community life.
- Expand the influence and visibility of Forum members.
- Engage the membership of The Forum in programs and initiatives that benefit them and The Forum.
