The Forum of Executive Women’s Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders is presented annually to a woman on the rise who is representative of the kind of talent that The Forum seeks to retain in our region and encourage to participate in a broader role as a leader and mentor in the community. The Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders is designed to recognize a woman who has been in her current career for a minimum of five and maximum of eight years; nominees outside that range will not be considered.
The winner of The Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders will be the nominee who best exemplifies the following criteria:
- Has demonstrated leadership within her profession/place of work
- Is in line for a position of major leadership within her profession/place of work
- Has shown a commitment to other women in her profession or to the community as a whole and has a commitment to leaving a legacy in the region
- Lives or works in the Southeastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Delaware region.
The Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders will be presented at the Annual Meeting of The Forum of Executive Women in the spring. The winner will receive a scholarship to a leadership development program and should be committed to attending Forum of Executive Women programs.

Nomination/Selection Procedures
- Nominations are accepted by The Forum of Executive Women. Self-nominations will be accepted. Members of The Forum of Executive Women are not eligible for this award.
- The Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders Committee, composed of Forum members and past award recipients, will review eligible nominations and select the winner.
- The Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders Committee Chair and The Forum Board President will notify the winner.
- The Forum Award for Emerging Women Leaders will be presented at the Annual Meeting of The Forum of Executive Women.
